BUZZARDS
£250 – £470 per week
TOADS BREECH
£330 – £680 per week
Please contact us for prices for specific weeks and for shorter stays.
SMOKING
We operate a strictly non smoking policy in the cottages.
PAYMENT
We require a deposit of £100 to confirm your booking and the balance of the rental fee 4 weeks before arrival. This can be made by bank transfer or by cheque. Please contact us for details.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
To allow us time to ensure that the cottages are thoroughly clean and well presented, we request arrival from 3pm and departure by 10am. We would also request the cottage is left clean and tidy.
DOGS
We love and welcome dogs. We charge £10 per week or part week for each dog.
Please be aware we are a farm and have animals in most of our fields and often hens roaming the grounds. There will be a dedicated field for your dog to run off the lead, but the remainder of the time we would request a lead. In the cottage all we ask is that dogs do not go on the furniture or upstairs and they are not left unattended in either the cottage or outside grounds.
HOLIDAY INSURANCE
Holiday Insurance is strongly recommended in case you have to cancel.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Between confirming your booking and paying the balance of your holiday cost: We will try to re-let. If successful, we will refund your deposit less £25 admin. fee. If unsuccessful, we will retain your deposit.
Between paying the full balance of holiday and your scheduled arrival date: We will try our best to re-let. If successful, we will return your total amount paid to us less £35 administration fee.
If unsuccessful the following will apply:
Cancellation up to 3 weeks before scheduled arrival: We will return you 25% of your total payment to us.
Cancellation Within 2 weeks of scheduled arrival: There will be no return.
We advise you to consider holiday insurance to cover this and any other eventuality, including having to leave before your planned departure day.
BREAKAGES, DAMAGE OR LOSS
Please tell us immediately so we can provide replacements. We will require payment for larger breakages or damage, (by whatever cause), loss, (eg. of maps, main guides, torch, etc), but accept the odd single small item as natural wear and tear – but please do inform us so we can replace them.
OWNER ACCESS
We reserve the right to enter either cottage at any reasonable time if we are aware of, or suspect, a problem. Very occasionally, we may request other access i.e. for a repair that cannot be done on changeover day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The person signing the booking form will be responsible for your booking and the terms of rental.
We require parents and guardians to be responsible for their children and dogs (especially re. the “seasonal pond”).
GENERAL
We will always do whatever we can to make your stay enjoyable. If we can provide you with any information or answer any questions please feel free to ask. If you care to tell us of any particular interests, we will do our best to advise on local facilities for these.
MOBILE PHONES
Only Orange / EE works at Weatherham Farm – other networks do work in various places within the locality. Our land telephone may be used for emergencies.
